How to extract my transactions from AscendEX for tax calculation and portfolio management?
After you integrate AscendEX with CRPTM with API, your tax reports will be generated correctly and accurately. Once integrated, CRPTM will automatically calculate your taxes based on where you are located and generate an EFOY tax report in only a couple of minutes! All that's left for you to do is download the Tax Statement from CRPTM at tax time, and submit it to your local tax authority- easy peasy!
How do you get your API Keys on AscendEX?
- Login to your AscendEX account
- Click on your profile icon on the top-right corner of the webpage.
- Go to “API Setting”
- Click on the “new API key” blue-colored button on to top right.
- Give the API key a name of your choice- let’s use CRPTM as an example.
- Choose “view” from the checkbox options below the API name field.
- Next, click the “No restrictions (weak security) option.
- Complete the email verification process (enter the code you receive on your registered email ID.)
- Complete the Google verification process.
- Click on “Generate API key”
- Copy the new Public key and API Secret key.
How to integrate AscendEX to CRPTM via API?
- Login to your CRPTM account
- Head over to the “Account” section at the top navigation bar of the page.
- Click on “Add Account” from the drop-down menu.
- Type “AscendEX” in the “Add Account” search field or select “AscendEX” from the list of exchanges mentioned below it.
- Click on “Import Your Trades”
- Next, click on “Continue”
- Enter or paste the new public key onto the public key box section.
- Enter or paste the new API Secret onto the Secret Key box section.
- Click on “Connect Account”
How to integrate AscendEX to CRPTM via CSV?
You can also add your transactions from AscendEX in CRPTM through a CSV file import. CRPTM allows you to directly import the transactions from exchange provided CSV file. the All you need to do is download the CSV file from AscendEX that has all your data and upload it onto CRPTM.

Here’s some good to know information for you.
If you elect to send your transactions from AscendEX to CRPTM via API integration, it may take a few minutes for them to sync– particularly if you have a lot of transactions. Once your data has synced, it will appear in the “My Accounts'' section in CRPTM. If at any point you're concerned about whether or not the AscendEX transaction integration was accurate, please check by comparing the transactions in your CRPTMs portfolio with those appearing in your account history on the AscendEX website. In case there are discrepancies between the two, don't hesitate to contact us. We’d be glad to assist you.
