How do you get the API Keys on Gate.io?
- Login to your Gate.io account
- Select the profile icon
- Select “API management” from the drop down menu.
- Select “APIv4 keys”
- Select “Create new API key”
- Check the spot or margin trade and wallet boxes under permissions- select the “read-only” option for both
- Click on “confirm and create”
- Enter the password of your fund
- Complete the two-factor authentication process, if it is enabled
- Copy the new API Key and new API Key Secret
How to connect Gate.io to CRPTM via API?
- Login to your CRPTM account
- Head over to the “Account” section at the top navigation bar of the page.
- Click on “Add Account” from the drop-down menu.
- Type “Gateio” under the “Add Account” search field or select “Gateio” from the list of exchanges mentioned below it
- Enter or paste your new API Key onto the API key box section.
- Enter or paste the new API Key Secret onto the Secret Key box section.
- Click on “Connect Account”
Ta-da! Your Gate.io account is now connected to CRPTM 
Here’s some good to know information for you.
The APV4 key is required for Gate.io, and not the APIV2 key. You'll need to change your CRPTM users' APV4 keys if they were previously using an APV2 key. If you haven't turned on the two-factor authentication, you can skip the step that mentions the 2FA process. To generate a report, leave the box field empty and choose ‘show API keys.' Also, keep in mind that it might take CRPTM a couple of minutes to show your Gate.io transactions. This is normal and just means that CRPTM is processing the data.
